Visit Ledge View

Park hours: Open daily, dawn to dusk.
Building hours: 8-4:30 weekdays, 10-4:30 weekends (closed major holidays)
Ledge View is part of the Calumet County Parks System and is open to the public.
There is no fee to visit.

There is a dolostone quarry on the 105-acre property, 50-foot observation tower, two miles of hiking trails (sorry, no bikes, please!), arboretum, butterfly garden, rain garden, upland deciduous forest, and prairie areas.
The nature center includes two classrooms and an exhibit hall with museum-quality interactive exhibits on Lake Sturgeon, Wisconsin Bats, the Niagara Escarpment, and birds, among others. There are also live animals.
The nature center building is staffed by the county naturalist and two assistant naturalists.
Ledge View also features natural solution caves in dolostone, accessible only on guided tour. For tour information, check out the caving page under "Things To Do." Tour times can be found in the calendar under "News & Events."
