A lot of things happened at Ledge View Nature Center in 2008.
Tim Meyer’s Chilton HS construction class built and installed a new cave ladder for Wayne’s World.
Paul & John Birschbach and John Hau installed brackets and built a deck in Carolyn’s Caverns.
Jerry Arenz and Steve Stenz cut timbers for new arboretum signage.
The arboretum was graveled with limestone screenings, and the signage was installed.
Jerry, Steve, Mel Meier, and DuWayne Klessig worked together to build an informational kiosk in front of the nature center.
On Earth Day, local kids helped plant a tree donated by the family of Eleanor Allison.
A new maple syruping sign was made and installed by the sugar shack.
The Calumet County Groundwater Guardians installed a new guide sign for the Katie Hemauer Memorial Rain Garden.
