2019 Crane Count
Come join the Annual Crane Count
5:30 am to 7:30 am
Each year in mid-April, over 1,000 volunteers travel to their local wetlands and favorite birding locations to participate in the Crane Count. This annual survey of Sandhill and Whooping Cranes spans over 90 counties in six states of the upper Midwest (Wisconsin and portions of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota).
Calumet County's Crane Count Coordinator is Stephanie Radandt. If interested in volunteering, please contact Stephanie at 920-849-7094 and she will provide you with information and talk with you about available sites in the county.

Quest for Less
Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2 pm
The Quest For Less: Environmental Science Show is an interactive show that teaches people about their choices in litter prevention, recycling and waste management. This lively program keeps the kids enthralled and laughing while delivering this important and topical information. Unlike other “green” assemblies, Mr. Dennis actually includes real science and leaves guests more aware of the real problems facing our planet and the solutions that science provides.
