Focus on Outdoor Fun
Programs are for ages 2-4, providing hands-on discovery of the natural world.
Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Each session will take place outdoors, dress appropriately. Getting our hands dirty, among other things, is part of the experience. Some hiking will be involved.

Bugs, Beetles, & Bookworms
An interactive program that focuses on the characteristics of a variety of animals that we consider bugs. With the help of an eight foot ant and praying mantis you will learn what makes an insect an insect and find out how they differ from other bugs. We discuss the importance of bugs and the benefits they provide for our survival and pay special attention to the problems that most bugs face with their own survival in this eat or be eaten world. You will discover some of the amazing methods bugs use to find food and keep from being food themselves.
